Alternative Vitality

 

After several years working internationally as a customer relationship, business management and operations manager, Donna gradually became aware of a need to do something more fulfilling.  This vague need became more and more impossible to ignore and the idea for Alternative Vitality was born.  Donna wanted a single source where all aspects of the body and mind could be catered for - organic health and beauty products, herbal remedies and holistic therapies for the body, and life coaching and meditation for the mind.  Donna retrained with the School of Natural Health Science as a Life Coach and Professional Relaxation Therapist and is a qualified practitioner of many of our Holistic Therapies.  She also takes great delight in testing all the organic skincare!

Donald is a renowned business and sports coach, regularly coaching some of the UK's most successful sports and business leaders.  One week may see him in Switzerland coaching the British ski team and the next in one-to-one coaching with the HR Director of a blue chip company.  He is Donna's personal coach and has been instrumental in the development of Alternative Vitality.  Donna and Donald are currently working together to develop and deliver corporate wellness programmes.

 

 

Brian trained at the College of Phytotherapy in Sussex, receiving an education in orthodox medical science and 5 years study of plant medicine. During the last 25 years he has gained expert knowledge in the use of medicinal herbs in the treatment and prevention of disease.

Through a special interest in skin diseases he became an international formulator of skin care and cosmetics products based on herbal extracts. He contributed a chapter in “Advanced Professional Skin Care” by the renowned dermatologist, Peter Pugliese, MD.

 

Brian provides all our herbal remedies and some of our fantastic skincare products.

 

 

Sophia is the UK's first, second generation medical herbalist and is Brian's daughter.  She is also a professional colonic hydrotherapist and founder of the nutritious delicious courses.  Donna and Sophia particularly enjoy brain-storming sessions over coffee and cake!

 

 

Alistair is Donna's partner in every aspect of the word.  He is the co-founder of Alternative Vitality and without him, Alternative Vitality would not be where it is today.  Alistair designed and produces our fantastic handmade meditation stools.  Each one is a work of art and they provide perfect posture support for meditation.

 

Alistair is also a keen tester of all new products and treatments.
